Science Writing and Editing
Science writing and editing has been a passion of mine for years. I focus on making science engaging and entertaining without sacrificing accuracy or oversimplifying facts. From 2018 to 2023, I was assistant editor for the Cricket Media group. I wrote numerous articles and fact pages, researched photo spreads, and conducted interviews with scientists and historians; particularly for CLICK, ASK, MUSE, and COBBLESTONE magazine. I also fact-checked articles and even whole issues of MUSE magazine.
If you’re interested in reading some of my work, you can find links to download and read some samples below:
- An article about fossil formation for ASK magazine.
- A “Science@Work” interview I did for MUSE magazine with Michelle Fournet on whale communications.
- A “Q&A” about blindness for MUSE magazine.
- An article about chimpanzee learning for MUSE magazine.
